My painting was inspired by the many subtle color variations and dramatic light differences seen in the deserts in Southwestern United States: browns, gold and yellow ochre, faded grasses, distant gray hills. It has felt exciting while remaining peaceful as I looked at the natural splendor.
This painting was featured in the first few pages of Arts to Hearts Project "101 Artbook Abstract Edition 2025". It was also included by the jurors into the main body of the book.
This painting is framed in a dark maple floating wood frame. Hanging hardware is attached to the back stretcher.
