An abstract diptych suggesting the broad expanse of a desert valley in the American Southwest. The colors are generally earthy in tone with contrasting marks. The inspiration was the sense of space and depth I experience looking across desert valleys in many locations in the Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and California.
